Entebbe Municipal Council Library was established in 1972 and occupied the entire building where the current Division A offices are located.The library has over 50,000 collections which include children’s’ books, reference books, fiction novels, newspapers, magazines, journals and maps among others.
The library collection is grouped and classified according to the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) scheme. The collection comprises the physical resources on the library shelves; and the E-Resources. The major divisions of the collection are in the areas
